The Flex Commitment Program by Usage is a dynamic, risk-managed solution designed to help you maximize cloud savings without the rigidity of traditional long-term commitments. How Does It Work?
- Savings Recommendations:
Usage AI analyzes your cloud usage data and provides recommendations for purchasing cloud commitments that will optimize your costs. - Approval and Automation:
Once you approve a recommendation, Usage automatically calls the cloud provider’s API (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to purchase the commitment. This commitment is then labeled as a Flex Commitment. - Active Commitment Management:
All Flex Commitments are visible in your dashboard under the “Active Commitments” tab, where you can filter between:- Your Existing Commitments: Directly managed by you.
- Usage’s Flex Commitments: Managed by Usage under the program.
